Dejan Kelhar

Dejan Kelhar ( born April 5, 1984 in Brežice ) is a Slovenian football player.

Career

Clubs

At the village of NK Brezice Kelhar began playing football and then moved to NK Krško Posavje. There he played until 2004, two years in the Slovenian second division before joining the first division joined audience Celje. Up to the second round in 2005, where he had been borrowed for 15 games at Olimpija Ljubljana, he completed 35 Erstligapartien for Celje.

About his compatriot Aleš Kokot then came a connection to the German second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where the right-back was to Okober 2007 under contract before he went back to Celje. On the last day of the winter transfer window 2008/ 09 Kelhar signed a contract with Cercle Brugge for the Jupiler Pro League. After two years in Belgium Kelhar changed in February 2011 to Legia Warsaw.

It was followed by other short-term stations in Israel at Hapoel Haifa and in Turkey Samsunspor before Kelhar accepted an offer from the FK Qəbələ from Azerbaijan in summer 2012. He played the following year and a half in the Premyer Liqasi. In January 2014, he joined the Serbian first division side FK Red Star Belgrade.

National

Dejan Kelhar also played for Slovenian youth teams and the U21 national team. His debut in the senior national team of Slovenia he gave in March 2010 in a friendly against Qatar.
