DeJuan Collins

DeJuan Lamont Collins ( born November 20, 1976 in Youngstown, Ohio ), called DC, is an American professional basketball player. He plays at the position of the player structure. After studying in his native Collins began a career as a professional in Germany, where he played four seasons. He then starred opposite stations in Greece, Italy, Russia and Spain in particular four seasons for the Lithuanian club Zalgiris Kaunas. Since March 2013 Collins stands in the squad of the Russian Association Krasnye Krylia Samara.

Career

Collins moved in 1997 to study at Louisiana State University, where he played for the college team Tigers in the Southeastern Conference of the NCAA Division I. After a season Collins changed again before the final year of his college career as a "senior" at the Tuskegee University to Alabama, one of the historical HBCUs, whose high school teams are also called the Tigers and play in the Division II of the NCAA. Then he tried to get as a professional on the summer training camp, among others at the Indiana Pacers in a contract of the highest endowed professional league NBA.
