Del Harris (squash player)

Del Harris ( born July 13, 1969 in Colchester ) is a former English squash player. In 1995 he became vice world champion.

Career

Del Harris in 1988 Junior World Champion, having won against Australian Anthony Hill in five sets. In 1987 and again in 1989 he won the British Championships. His greatest successes came in the 1995 season when he won the final of the Super Series against Brett Martin. He also reached the final of the World Championship, which he lost to Jansher Khan with 15:10, 17:14, 16:17 and 15:8. With the England team Del Harris won the world championship in 1997. He defeated in his final game of the Canadian Graham Ryding. His best finish in the world ranking was fifth in March 1996.
