Delaware 87ers

The Delaware 87ers are a basketball team of the NBA Development League (D - League), which is located in Newark ( Delaware).

History

On 17 April 2007, Utah was added Flash known as a new franchise in the D- League. The Flash were assigned to the Utah Jazz as the " farm team ". Likewise, the players of the Atlanta Hawks were able to assign the Flash Player and recall. As a new home hall the UCCU Center was chosen on the campus of Utah Valley University.

Since entering into playing 2007 flash every season have reached the playoffs D- League. 2008/2009 was even the finals of the playoffs be achieved. There, the Flash had beaten the Colorado 14ers, however. Last Head Coach of the Utah Flash was since the season 2010/2011 Kevin Young. 2013 acquired the Philadelphia 76ers the rights to the team and moved its headquarters to Newark. They also changed the name of the franchise in 87ers. While the Declaration of Independence of the United States was signed in 1776 in Philadelphia, Delaware was the first U.S. state to the 1787 Constitution of the United States ratified. The 87ers are logged in to the game operation in the 2013/14 season and play their home games at the Bob Carpenter Center "The Bob ", which summarizes 5,000 spectators, on the campus of the University of Delaware.
