Delaware River Port Authority

The Delaware River Port Authority ( DRPA ) is the common Seaport Authority ( Port Authority ) of the U.S. states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. It was created in 1951 and is mainly responsible for the large road bridges across the Delaware in the Philadelphia area. Besides dropping a passenger ferry and a cruise terminal in their area. The PATCO Speedline it also operates a high-speed rail link between Philadelphia and New Jersey.

The DRPA 2007 employed 891 people and generated $ 261 million in sales. Around three quarters of the revenue was accounted for by the bridge tolls.
