Delfim Moreira

Delfim Moreira da Costa Ribeiro ( born November 7, 1868 in Cristina, Minas Gerais, † July 1, 1920 in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Minas Gerais ) was a Brazilian lawyer, politician and from 15 November 1918 to the July 28, 1919 President of Brazil. Delfim Moreira was a member of the Partido Republicano Mineiro ( PRM).

He became president, was after the already chosen candidate Francisco de Paula Rodrigues Alves ill with the Spanish flu and died before his inauguration.

From September 7, 1914 to September 7, 1918 Moreira was governor of the state of Minas Gerais.
