Delfo Cabrera

Delfo Cabrera Gómez ( born April 2, 1919 in Armstrong, Santa Fe Province, Argentina; † August 2, 1981 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine long-distance runner.

He won at the Olympic Summer Games in London in 1948 the gold medal in the marathon. In 1952, he was sixth in the same discipline.

In 1981, he died as a result of a car accident.
