Delio Onnis

Delio Onnis ( born March 24, 1948 in Giuliano di Roma ) is a former Argentine footballer. He is still with 299 top scorer of all time in the highest French League, Division 1 (now Ligue 1). (February 2013)

Playing career

Delio Onnis ' family emigrated, many of their countrymen to Argentina when he was still a child; there he acquired the Argentine citizenship, but also kept the Italian. The 1.80 m wide and best times 80 kg vast center forward, any attributes were always hanging piece, came in the course of the season 1971/72 to about Stade de Reims and immediately secured 22 goals for the French club that his best years already had this time behind him and took place at the end of season 15. From 1992 to 1994 Onnis worked as a coach at FC Paris.
