Delisi (Tbilisi Metro)

Delisi ( Georgian: დელისი, Russian: Делиси ), from 1979 to 1992 and from 1998 to 2006 Viktor Goziridse ( Georgian: ვიქტორ გოცირიძე, Russian: Виктор Гоциридзе ), often after English Delisi or rare Delisi, is a station of the Metro Tbilisi. It was opened in 1979. The architect was N. Lomidse. The station has two entrances, but instead of escalators stone stairs are available. Delisi was originally endpoint of Saburtalo line, but since the opening of the station Vazha Pshavela in 2002, Delisi is only the penultimate stop. From 1979-1992 and again from 1998-2006 she was named after Viktor Goziridse. Since 2011 the station electric depot is named after Viktor Goziridse.
