DeLisle Stewart

DeLisle Stewart (* March 16, 1870; † February 2, 1941 ) was American astronomer.

In 1896 he became a member of the Harvard College Observatory, and from 1898 to 1901 he worked at the observatory in Arequipa, Peru, where he recorded photographs that William Henry Pickering used to explore Saturn's moon Phoebe. He discovered many new galactic nebulae.

Later he worked at the observatory in Cincinnati, Ohio, until 1910., Where he founded the Cincinnati Astronomical Society.

On August 14, 1901, he discovered the asteroid (475) Ocllo.
