DELMIA

Digital Enterprise Lean Manufacturing Interactive Application, DELMIA short, is a software for planning, visualization, simulation and validation of production planning. This Delmia followed the first steps towards implementation of the Digital Factory.

The software combines aspects of the old CIM concept and adds new ideas. DELMIA DELMIA is the same company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, developed and distributed.

Delmia was founded in 2001 from the three companies EAI - Delta, SafeWork and Deneb, the developer of IGRIP.

DELMIA is performed in Germany as a limited liability company, which has its headquarters in Stuttgart -Vaihingen. Furthermore, in home soil and in Dresden smaller branches are entertained.

Worldwide Delmia is represented in addition to the two major sites in the USA and Germany, among others, in France, Japan, India and South Korea.

Today we distinguish Delmia system in three groups:

• DELMIA D5, the old simulation solution of Deneb
• DELMIA V5 ( and V6), the new simulation platform based on the architecture of CATIA
• DELMIA Process Engineer E5, the Platform for Production Planning
