Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited ( DTTL ), known under the brand name Deloitte [ dilɔ ͜ ɪt ], is next to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC ), Ernst & Young, KPMG and one of the Big Four firms in the accounting and consulting industry. Foundation and History

The first office was founded in 1845 in London by William Welch Deloitte. As early as 1890 was the expansion in the United States. George Touche founded his company in 1899 in London. In 1975, the Tohmatsu founded in Tokyo in 1968 Awoki & Co. Structure

DTTL is a limited liability company under UK law ( private company limited by guarantee ). She herself does not provide consulting services to clients, but only the global member firms of DTTL.
