Band History

Richard Boardman and Matt Cocksedge had been in the indie band Snowfight in the City Centre before they parted in search of new musical paths of the band. They teamed up with singer James Cook and drummer Dan Teman and formed the band. Their success began in early 2009 when they signed with Polydor and excited with her ​​debut single Counterpoint attention after festival appearances and a second single, they were moved so far to the attention of the music press that them on the big breakthrough was predicted for the year and, among other sound of 2010, the prestigious annual newcomer forecast the BBC, were chosen at No. 3.

Producer of Delphic, techno DJ Ewan Pearson, has settled in Berlin, which is why the debut album Acolyte was recorded there. It abolished the beginning of 2010 right away to make it into the top 10 of the UK album charts.
