Delphine Boël

Delphine Michèle Anne Marie Boël ( born February 22, 1968 in Uccle, Belgium) is a Belgian artist and possibly the daughter of Albert II of Belgium. The King has never recognized these fatherhood.

Life

Boël is the daughter of Baroness Sybille de Sélys Longchamps. Her mother was married at that time still with the industrialist Jacques Boël whose surname bears dolphins. Delphine Boël grew after the divorce of her mother by Jacques Boël in London. Your education she received at a boarding school in Switzerland. She then studied art at the Chelsea School of Art in London, in 1990 with a BA fine arts (Honours ) graduated.

Boël has worked as an artist and presents collages and sculptures, including papier-mâché ago. Since 2000 she has had several exhibitions.

Delphine Boël lives with the Texan James "Jim" O'Hare. With him she has two children.

Relation to Albert II

1999 Mario Danneels wrote in his biography of Queen Paola ( Paola, van " la dolce vita " dead koningin ) that King Albert II had an illegitimate daughter. Albert II has never acknowledged paternity. He admitted at a Christmas speech in 1999 that his marriage had thirty years before been in a crisis.

2005 Boël has described the relationship between her mother and Albert II in an interview. Their relationship had existed from 1966 to 1984. Albert 've even had plans to divorce his wife Paola. Boël claims to be the daughter of Albert. He had also taken care of in her childhood to her and visited her and her mother. There at least since 1999 between Albert and her no more contact, such Boël and her mother complained in various interviews.

In April 2008 BOELS autobiography Couper le cordon appeared ( " The umbilical cord cut "). In it she wrote that she considered himself the child of Albert, but I have the hope of recognition given by him.
