Delsey Luggage is the second largest manufacturer of luggage and travel bags worldwide.

History

The Delahaye compagnie was founded in 1911 as a manufacturer of bags for cameras, typewriters and record players. After entering the Brothers Seynhaeve the company was renamed in 1946 in Delsey. In 2007, the management has taken the help of the English Argan Capital Advisors LLP through a management buy -out the company by the previous owners.

Delsey produces about three million items of luggage a year. The company now operates in approximately 100 countries and has offices in Germany, UK, Benelux, Spain, Denmark and Italy. In Germany Delsey has been represented since 1970 by its own subsidiary.

A well-known product of the brand is the suitcase trolley, whose name has established itself as a term monopoly for rollable suitcase.
