Delta Geminorum
Wasat (also Wesat ) is the name of the star δ Geminorum in the constellation Gemini.
Wasat has an apparent magnitude of 3.5 m, belongs to the spectral class F0 and is about 59 light years away. The name Wasat means " middle ( of the sky) " ( from Arabic. Wasat as- sama ).
Wasat can ( very rare! ) As ekliptiknaher star from the moon and planets are covered. The last eclipse of Wasat by a planet took place on June 30, 1857 by Saturn, the next will take place on August 12, 2420 by Venus.
