Deltron 3030

Deltron 3030 is an American hip hop group consisting of DJ Kid Koala, Del tha Funky Homosapien rapper and producer Dan the Automator.

History

Deltron 3030 was founded in 1999. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2000 Deltron 3030 75 Ark Records, the label of Dan the Automator. This is a concept album that tells a science fiction story from the point of view of the superhero Deltron Zero ( Del the Funky Homosapien ). Its goal is to rid the earth of the ruling powers. The plot of the album set in the year 3030, hence the name of the group. In the many interludes on the album guest stars as Damon Albarn, Mr. Lif or Mark Bell appear as other characters of the story.

After the debut album were dedicated to the musicians other projects or published solo albums, yet they continued to work together on the publications of each other.

2004, work began on the second album Event 2, but lasted until 2013. In September this year, the album about Deltron Partners and Bulk Recordings was released. Also in Event 2 is a concept album and the plot follows on from its predecessor.
