Demetrius Alexander

Demetrius Darnell Alexander ( born November 3, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri) is a professional American basketball player. His greatest successes came with the Latvian club Barons / LMT Riga, with whom he not only the Latvian championship, but also the European club competition FIBA EuroCup won in 2008. In the Latvian championship, he was like the award as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Japanese Championship in 2000, he also was elected to the All- Star team of the EuroCup 2008 competition. Since 2012 he plays for the Israeli Bnei Hasharon first division.

Career

College

As a successful basketball player at his high school in his native Missouri Alexander In 1994, first to study at the Junior College Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson ( Kansas). The high school basketball team Blue Dragons was at that time reigning national champion on the junior colleges in the NJCAA. In the following two years, this success could not be repeated. In 1996, Alexander then graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and continued playing for the high school team Crimson Tide, among others, along with MC Mazique in the Southeastern Conference of the NCAA.
