Demetrius Lacon

Demetrios Lakon was a Greek philosopher of the second century BC

He was an Epicurean and a friend of Zeno of Sidon. His studies included a number of areas such as mathematics, physics, ethics, grammar, and rhetoric. He is also the author of Hippocrates lexicon. Fragments of his works were found in the Villa of the Papyri at Herculaneum.
