Demir Gökgöl

Demir Gökgöl ( born July 15, 1937 in Istanbul, † March 22, 2012 in Hamburg) was a Turkish actor, who lived in Germany and worked.

Life

Born in Istanbul in 1937 Gökgöl received his training as an actor in Vienna. He then had several engagements in Turkey as well as the local state radio in Istanbul.

1968 emigrated Gökgöl to Germany, where he played until his death as a film and television actor numerous, partly heeded roles and synchronous work was undertaken. In addition, he continued to work in the theater. In addition, the actor as a reciter of poets such as Bertolt Brecht, Nazim Hikmet Orhan Veli or operated. With poems by Nazim Hikmet Gökgöl discussed, for example, two audio books.

On March 22, 2012 Gökgöl died at the age of 75 years in Hamburg laryngeal cancer woes.
