Democrat Youth Community of Europe

The Democrat Youth Community of Europe ( DEMYC, German Democratic Youth Community of Europe ) is an international umbrella organization of youth organizations Christian democratic, conservative and like-minded parties in Europe.

The young generation in the SVP (South Tyrol ) is the only German -language youth organization in the DEMYC.

Description

The aim of the DEMYC is to promote contacts and removing the cooperation of its member organizations from different European countries and thus to contribute to the United Europe.

Every year several seminars will be organized in different parts of Europe. During this meeting the following topics were dealt with in recent years: the new democracies in Central and Eastern Europe and their way in the future united Europe, the European Union and its development towards a unified Europe, the North-South dialogue, the environment - and labor policy, the future of the welfare state, the consequences of the introduction of new technologies and much more.

The DEMYC is a member of the International Young Democrat Union ( IYDU ), the youth organization of the International Democratic Union ( IDU ).
