Demolition (English for " destruction" ) is the 14th studio album by the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was released on 16 July 2001. It was the second and last of the two - Judas Priest studio albums with vocalist Tim Owens. It is one of the few albums of the band, which are provided with the Parental Advisory sticker.
Background
After the rather restrained reactions to Jugulator the band Demolition tried to return to their earlier sound of the 1980s in parts. Thus, the traditional elements have been combined to Demolition only with sporadic deposits of chant or light nu-metal bonds.
The album was produced by Glenn Tipton, who also mostly worked as a songwriter. Even the former producer Chris Tsangarides assisted in writing some of the songs. Drummer Scott Travis contributed Cyberface for the first and only time the band's history in song writing.
