Demon is a Heavy Metal band from England.

Band History

The band was founded in 1979 at the height of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal by Dave Hill and Malcolm Spooner. The line-up was Les Hunt ( guitar), Paul Riley ( bass) and John Wright ( drums) completed. The band completed a record deal with Carrere Records in 1981 and released her debut album, Night of the Demon. The follow-up album The Unexpected Guest was the biggest selling album of the band. Nevertheless, the band changed their style with the following two LPs, The Plague, and British Standard Approved by progressive influences from the 70s opened. Died in 1984 guitarist times Spooner. 1987-1991, the band had a successful second phase in which she also appeared several times live in Germany, of which a live double - LP to testify. After 4 years of seclusion Demon 1997 celebrated the Festival Bang Your Head her comeback on stage. In 1999 there were heard two new songs on a tribute album before was presented in 2001 with Spaced Out Monkey a new studio album.
