Denes nad Makedonija
Denes nad Makedonija (Today over Macedonia) is the title of the Macedonian national anthem. Author of the text was the writer Vlado Maleski, the author of the music was Todor Skalowski. The song was written in 1943. In 1948, the song the official anthem of the Democratic Federative Republic of Macedonia, says the Association of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. After the founding of the Independent Republic of Macedonia, in 1991, the 1992 song became the official anthem just in this country.
Over time the original is changed. Therefore, there are now two versions of the song. Unlike the original song, the name of Nikola Karev and Dimitar Wlachow were deleted and replaced by Lady Gruew.
