Denigomodu District
Denigomodu (short Denig, rarely Dinegomudu ) is a district on the island nation of Nauru, to the west of the island. It borders on Nibok in the northeast and on Aiwo and Buada in the south. The district is part of the constituency Ubenide.
Population
In this district you will find the accommodation of foreign phosphate mine workers. It has 1,889 inhabitants, of which 1,497 live in the working-class district ( designated by census as a location ). Since is the only hospital on the island in Denigomodu, Denigomodu is the birthplace of almost all Nauruans.
