Denis Moschitto

Denis Moschitto ( born June 22, 1977 in Cologne ) is a German film actor.

Life

The son of an Italian and a Turkish woman was born in Cologne, where he also grew up. Already during his school years played Moschitto theater. In his youth he was also active in the hacking scene. Together with Evrim Sen he published in 1999 the book Hackers Land - The log of the scene. The second book of Sen and Moschitto appeared in 2000 under the title hacker Tales - Stories of friend enemy. After his graduation Moschitto first began studying philosophy before he devoted himself to his career as an actor.

He is best known for films such as Play It Loud, Süperseks, Kebab Connection and Chiko. Previously in 1 ½ to see Welcome to Germany, Ritter - - Last he was also in the film Almanya to see In Search of the Ravishing Princess Herzelinde by and starring Til Schweiger, who came in late 2008 in the German cinemas. He also plays the role of Murat Kurnaz in Fatih Akin's Short Film The name of Murat Kurnaz.

Denis Moschitto received several awards for his performances, including In 2003, the Günter Strack TV Award for Best Young Actor for the Tatort episode Romeo and Juliet. In 2009 he was nominated for the German Film Award 2009 for Best Actor for his performance in the film Chiko.
