Denis Å efik

Denis Šefik, Cyrillic Денис Шефик, ( born September 20, 1976 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian water polo goalkeeper, who has assumed the Montenegrin citizenship and represents the Montenegrin water polo association in the target. Currently Denis Šefik plays in Montenegro in Budva PVK. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

National

With the national Šefik won three medals (one gold silver and bronze ) at the World Championships. He was European champion in 2001 and 2003. In the World League, he won a gold medal and a bronze medal. He was 95 times worked for the Serbian national team (as of December 31, 2005 ). In 2006 he won with the Serbian national team at the European Championships in Belgrade the gold medal.
