Denis Verdini

Denis Verdini ( born May 8, 1951 Italy ) is an Italian economist and politician.

Life

Denis Verdini taught economic history at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi sociali in Rome. He also writes for the newspaper Il Tempo and La Nazione. He is currently (October 2010) Coordinator of the Italian ruling party Popolo della Libertà. He is a close confidant of Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

He was also in May 2008 coordinator of Forza Italia.
