Denise Hinrichs

Denise Hinrichs ( born June 7, 1987 in Rostock ) is a German shot putter.

She is since 2006 members of the federal police sports school Kienbaum, the top sports conveyor of the Federal Police for summer and year-round sports.

Life

In 2003, she finished fourth at the World Junior Championships, in 2005 she was Junior European Champion and the following year Junior Vice World Champion. In 2007 he again silver, this time at the U23 European Championships.

After her bronze was at the German Indoor Championships in 2006 until then the greatest success in the adult population, they won in the indoor season, the 2008 title. At the World Indoor Championships in Valencia, she just missed the finals in ninth qualifying. 24 May 2008 Hinrichs increased in Halle ( Saale), their personal best to 19.07 m. With this performance, she qualified for participation in the Olympic Games in Beijing.
