The company Denki Kagaku Kōgyō K. K. (Japanese电 気 化学 工业 株式会社, dt as: " Electrochemistry Engineering AG ", short Denka (电 化/デンカ); Denki Kagaku Kogyo untranslated in English Kabushiki Kaisha) is a Japanese chemical company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Denka was involved in the chloroprene rubber cartel from 1993 to 2006. Denka is mainly active in the field of chlorine chemistry, the most famous product is VINI -TAPE, a polyvinyl chloride adhesive tape for electrical insulation.
