The Gabelsberger monument in Munich, is a bronze sculpture by the German sculptor Syrius Eberle. It was the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Franz Xaver Gabelsberger (1789-1849), the inventor of a cursive shorthand system, built in 1890. Poured it was by Ferdinand von Miller.

The monument is on a stone pedestal Gabelsberger in a sitting position. Location is a space- like extension at the confluence of Barer Straße in Ottostraße in the district Maxvorstadt.

Due to an accident of Syrius Eberle of the monument could not complete it on time. The actual 100th birthday fork Berger was committed within the framework of the 40th Foundation feast of stenographers central association with a wreath at the grave fork Bergers.
