Denmark is a town in Lewis County in the U.S. state of New York. It bears the English name of the Scandinavian country Denmark. In 2000, Denmark had 2747 inhabitants. The city was called until 1932 Danmark. Until 1948, Danish was the official language until 1987 official second language.

Geography

History
