Dennis Crowley

Dennis Crowley (born 19 June 1976) is an American Internet entrepreneur who has become best known as the co-founder of the portals Dodgeball and Foursquare.

Crowley is a graduate of the Bachelor Syracuse University 's SI Newhouse School of Public Communications. He founded Dodgeball, together with his colleague Alex Rainert studies while still a student at New York University in 2000. Dodgeball was bought in 2005 by Google Inc.. A second version of Dogeball services called Foursquare Crowley created in 2009. Foursquare offers location - based mobile services, and had in September 2010 over 3 million users worldwide.

The online magazine AskMen.com lists Dennis Crowley as number 19 of the top 49 most influential men of 2010.
