Dennis Eilhoff ( born July 31, 1982 in Witten ) is a former German football goalkeeper.
Career
Association
His footballing career started in 1990 at the Eilhoff Delbrücker SC, before moving to TuS Paderborn -Neuhaus 1994. At the age of 16 years went Eilhoff 1996 Arminia Bielefeld. There he belonged since 2000 to the senior squad and completed his first appearances in the 2000/ 01 season, when the Arminia played in the 2nd Bundesliga. Eilhoff but never was able to prevail against the goalkeeper Mathias Hain and came to 2006, only four league stakes; including in the 2005/06 season two in the 1st Bundesliga.
Therefore, he was loaned out for the season 2006 /07 for two years in the second division club TuS Koblenz, where he was from the winter break 2006/07 goalkeeper, and up to a game every other denied. For the season 2008/ 09 he returned to Arminia Bielefeld. There Eilhoff benefited from an injury to goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez first and played a large part of the first round in goal for the " Arminia ". Due to its impressive performance Eilhoff remained first choice after recovering from Fernandez. Not least for this reason, he extended his contract in February 2009 at the Arminia by two years until 2011. Too, after descending to the 2nd Bundesliga in May 2009 remained Eilhoff the club faithful. After the dismal season 2010/2011 Eilhoff was in the second half in his resignation unknown.
On 9 June 2011, he signed a one-year contract with newly promoted second division Dynamo Dresden. In the same city dwellers to Eilhoff had prevailed at the beginning of the 2011/12 season in the competition against the rise goalkeeper Benjamin Kirsten. However, he withdrew in the second season game against Hansa Rostock severe capsular injury in his left middle finger on, but for the time being played on. After 18 goals conceded in the first nine league games Eilhoff lost his regular place in Dynamo- gate to the nachverpflichteten Wolfgang Hesl. He played for Dynamo Dresden after a single game more. At the end of the season, the club announced that Eilhoffs contract would not be renewed.
Due to a finger injury ended his career as a sports Eilhoff invalid.
National
Eilhoff, who belonged to the squad of the German U - 16 national team took part as a substitute goalkeeper with the U- 17 National Team at the 1999 World Cup in New Zealand. When the -budgetary goalkeeper January castles had suffered an injury in the second preliminary round game against the selection of Australia, Eilhoff came on in the 43 minutes, but could not prevent the 1-2 defeat of the German team. In the 0-0 draw against the Brazilian selection in the final group game Eilhoff was voted Man of the Match. Nevertheless, he retired with the German selection as a group of third after the first round.

In the published by the Kicker Sports Magazine goalkeeper ranking the 2nd Bundesliga Eilhoff occupied in the 2007/ 08 season with a grade point average of 3.17 ( the highest grade point average is 2.82) seventh. In the 2009/10 season made it Eilhoff, the first goalkeeper ever, eight games to remain in the Bundesliga 2 in a row without conceding a goal.

Dennis Eilhoff grew up in East Westphalia and put 2001 at the Gymnasium Nepomucenum Rietberg the Abitur. Privately Eilhoff Arminia Bielefeld is connected as a member of the Boys Fan Club Bielefeld. He is married, has two children and lives with his family in Rietberg near Bielefeld.
