Dennis Lyxzén

Dennis Lyxzén ( born June 19, 1972 in Vännäs ) is a Swedish musician.

He is best known as the singer of legendary hardcore band Refused, the end of the 1990s broke up shortly after the release of her album The Shape Of Punk To Come. Parallel to Refused played Lyxzén ( and also the other members Refused ) in the much lesser-known hardcore band Final Exit, which also dissolved the end of the 1990s.

Later Lyxzén formed the rock group The (International ) Noise Conspiracy (abbreviated T ( I) NC). Both bands have a strongly (left ) political attitude that is based from the working class origins of their members and in song titles like Worthless Is the Freedom Bought ..., Protest Song '68 ( Refused ), The Subversive Sound, Capitalism Stole My Virginity or Bigger Cages, Longer chains (T ( I) NC) expressed. In public Lyxzén furthermore, encourages animal rights, he even vegan.

Since 1999, published Lyxzén also three albums of his songwriting project The Lost Patrol band which - with the exception of the debut album Songs In The Key Of Resistance - is little political and thematic focus lays on personal experience.

2005 Dennis Lyxzén produced the self-titled album by the Swedish punk band Regulations, which appeared on the HC / punk rock record label Havoc.

2008 Lyxzén founded the hardcore band AC4 together with ex - Refused David Sandström and members of the Swedish hardcore punk band "The Vectors". In January 2012 there was a reunion of the band Refused, which has announced a number of festival appearances this year.

Together with Inge Johansson ( T (I ) NC ) and Stefan Granberg (Randy ) also operates Lyxzén the label and the club Ny Våg in Umeå.

Lyxzén founded following the dissolution of Refused with bassist Sara Almgren, guitarist Anders Stenberg, drummer Andre Sandström and keyboardist Richard Österman the alt- rock band INVSN. The band is planning their album debut Razor & Tie for Fall 2013.
