Dennis Poore

Dennis Poore ( born August 19, 1916 in London, † February 12, 1987 ) was a British racing driver.

The factory owners rose 1947 to racing by acquiring an Alfa Romeo. This he successfully advocated for mountain races and rarely also in circuit racing. In 1950 he became a British Bergmeister. In 1952, crossed his ways with the Connaught team, with whom he after all a fourth place at the GP of Great Britain in 1952 reached on a Connaught Type A. Later he started especially in endurance races, including the 24- hour race at Le Mans, and celebrated 1955 Aston Martin one victory at Goodwood.
