Dennis Rommedahl

Dennis Rommedahl ( born July 22, 1978 in Copenhagen, Denmark ) is a Danish football player. Because of its speed, it is used on the right wing. However, it can also use the classical position at right midfield.

Romme Dahl began his career at Hoje Gladsaxe, followed by the stations Gladsaxe / Hero and B 93

By January 1997, he was the Danish club Lyngby BK under contract before he moved to the Dutch first division club PSV Eindhoven in February of the same year. The time until the end of the season 1996/97 was not optimal for Rommedahl and he came only a few uses. In order to give him match practice, decided PSV responsible for the following season to give the offensive player to league rival RKC Waalwijk. There Rommedahl developed for regular players.

From the season 1998/99 he was playing for PSV and won there as well a regular place. In the years 2000, 2001 and 2003, the Dane with Eindhoven Dutch master was. Especially in the 2002/03 season he excelled in attack with his strike partners Mateja Kezman and Arjen Robben. After an equally good 2003/04 season with PSV ( winning the Johan Cruyff trophy and 2nd place in the Championship) the storm trio moved to London.

Romme Dahl went for 3.5 million euro transfer fee to Charlton Athletic. In his first season he played 26 games and scored two goals. Charlton took the end of the 2004/05 season the 11th place in the Premier League. The winger played a further two years at the London club, but decided in the summer of 2007 to switch back to the Netherlands.

Ajax Amsterdam secured the services of the attacker. With the Amsterdammers he was the Johan Cruyff Schaal win even before the League against his former club PSV Eindhoven. During the winter break of the season 2008/ 09 Romme Dahl was awarded to NEC Nijmegen.

For the 2010/11 season he moved free transfer to Olympiakos Piraeus. After the club, he could earn a regular place, he returned in the summer of 2011, back in his Danish home, where he wrote the first division club Brøndby IF.

National

His debut in the dress of the Danish national team, he was on 16 August 2000. On 7 October 2000 qualifier to the finals of the World Cup scored Rommedahl the 1-1 draw with Northern Ireland 's first hit in the dress of the Danes. Two years later the striker for his first major tournament, the FIFA World Cup 2002 in Japan / South Korea, was appointed. In four games Rommedahl could score a goal in the 2-0 victory against France. Also at the European Championships in Portugal in 2004, he was with Denmark.
