Dennis van de Laar

Dennis van de Laar Alphons Ronald ( born February 3, 1994, Haarlem ) is a Dutch racing driver. He started in 2013 in the European Formula 3 Championship.

He is a son of automobile racing driver Ronald van de Laar.

Career

Unlike most racers van de Laar has no experience in karting. Van de Laar 2010 competed in the touring car racing series Suzuki Swift Cup and became immediately a third party. After use in the Dutch Winter Endurance Series, van de Laar made ​​in 2011 first experience in Formula racing. He started for Van Amersfoort Racing in the Formula Renault Northern European. He scored regularly points and was a sixth place as best result seventh in the drivers' standings. In addition, he appeared to two races in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and to also completed two guest appearances in this series. After the season, he started in the winter series of the British Formula Renault. In addition, van de Laar was also active in Tourenwagen-/GT-Sport. Together with his father Ronald van de Laar, he launched into an event of the FIA ​​GT3 European Championship. He also won, along with his father, the champion of diesel Evaluation of Dutch Race Driver Organisation.

2012 entered the van Laar for Van Amersfoort Racing at the German Formula 3 Cup. With a third place as the best result he finished the season on top of the ninth. In addition, he completed three guest appearances in the Formula 3 Euro Series. He also participated in touring car racing at two races of the Dutch Race Driver part of the organization. 2013 remained the van Laar Van Amersfoort Racing and competed in the European Formula 3 Championship. He finished 20th in the driver standings. In addition, he took with his father on 24 - hour race at Daytona in the GT class in part.
