Denny Landzaat

Denny Landzaat ( born May 6, 1976 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player.

Landzaat began playing football at the Amsterdam District Club Buitenveldert before he came the age of eight to the youth of Ajax Amsterdam. But in his first year as a pro in 1995/96 he came only to one use and another three minutes in the Champions League. He then moved to the second highest class for MVV Maastricht, the rise of managed this season in the Eredivisie. In this and the following two years, he played every competitive match for the MVV.

In 1999, he then moved into higher regions of the table to Tilburg Willem II There he quickly became one of the most important players on the team in the creative midfielder, who missed hardly a game the team. With the success of the club, where he was a star of the team, was also his return to the national team, in which he plays an important role in the game system in supporting the fast Dutch striker in midfield. In the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2006, he was placed in the root formation. At the 2006 World Cup Landzaat was only a substitute and came in three of four games available for use. Despite his successful career in Alkmaar Landzaat moved for a transfer fee of 4.4 million euros at the start of the 2006/2007 season in the English Premier League Wigan Athletic. In January 2008, he returned to his native country when he moved to Feyenoord Rotterdam. In his first game for Feyenoord he same scored his first goal.

In summer 2010 Landzaat moved to Twente Enschede. In the summer of 2013, the contract ran out. Landzaat held before the following season for a while with his old club AZ Alkmaar fit, a new employer, he found not to start of the season. In January 2014 he was hired by Willem II Tilburg in the Eerste Divisie on.
