Denny Morrison

Denny Morrison ( born September 8, 1985 in Chetwynd ) is a Canadian speed skater and Olympic champion from Fort St. John, British Columbia.

At the World Junior Championships, he finished in the years 2004 and 2005 the 4th Place and in his first Senior World Championships he finished 5th.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Turin in 2006, he belonged to the Canadian Team Pursuit. He won the silver medal with the team and together with the team, he holds the current world record. About 1000m Morrison took the 19th place and above 1500m the 11th Place.

In the season 2005/2006 he took 2nd place in the overall World Cup over 1500m.
