Department of National Defence (Canada)

The Department of National Defence ( DND; French: Ministère de la Défense nationale ) is the Ministry of Defence of Canada. The main task of this ministry it is to maintain the combat readiness of the military and the defense of the country. History

The Department of National Defence began operations on January 1, 1923.
