Department of Transport and Main Roads

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is an agency of the Government of Queensland. She is responsible for the road network in Queensland with a total length of over 33,000 km, with a total of 6,500 bridges. The Department was established in April 2009 as the earlier authorities Queensland Transport and the Department of Main Roads have been merged.
