Deportivo Cali
Asociación Deportivo Cali Club is a football club based in the Colombian city of Cali.
It was founded in 1912 under the name " Cali FC" and began his professional history in the Colombian Football League on August 15, 1948. The club colors are green and white. The club won eight national titles during its history.
Deportivo Cali in 1978 was the first Colombian club, who reached the final of the Copa Libertadores, but lost to Boca Juniors. 1999 was the club against Palmeiras in Sao Paulo for the second time in the final. 1998 reached the final of the Copa Deportivo Merconorte.
Stadium
Deportivo Cali played a long time in the " Estadio Pascual Guerrero ," together with the local rival América de Cali. It offers 45,000 spectators.
2008, the club moved first in Colombia in its own stadium at which bears the name Estadio Deportivo Cali. This new stadium can accommodate 53,347 spectators.
