Deportivo Toluca F.C.
Deportivo Toluca Fútbol Club, S. A. de C.V. Even Deportivo Toluca, Club Toluca Toluca, or only briefly, is a Mexican football club. The club has its home in the city of Toluca, the capital of the State of Mexico and is about 65 kilometers west of Mexico City is located.
His nickname " Diablos rojos " ( red devils) derives from its red game clothing. Another nickname is " choriceros " (after " chorizo ", a sausage ).
The beginnings of football in the state of México
First pioneer of football in the state of México was originally from a wealthy German family Manuel Henkel. The Henkel family owned a factory in the state capital of Toluca, along with a large estate near the city.
In order to provide the workers of the Hacienda " La Huerta " ( Spanish term for fruit and vegetable plantations) a pastime, Manuel Henkel founded in 1915 a football team that was named the hacienda. According to the traditions La Huerta was the first existing football team in the state of México. That same year, Henkel also called a company football team in the factory of the Henkel family to life, which was named after the volcano Xinantécatl located near Toluca. This was the first football team in the state capital of Toluca. The almost simultaneous formation of the two teams made sure that this could compete with each other and an interest in football was awakened.
To serve the players of both teams sporting ideal, Henkel hired the talented Mexican athletes Filiberto Navas, who not only took care of the team, but eventually also active, sometimes the gate, and times in the attack, was involved.

Club history
The club was founded on 12 February 1917 by various personalities of the city of Toluca and 1950 belonged to the founding members of División Segunda, the first national second division.
