Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

The office of Deputy Prime Minister ( Deputy Prime Minister ) was first awarded in the United Kingdom on February 19, 1942 a member of the Cabinet. After the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister ( Cabinet Office ) was established on 8 June 2001 in the Cabinet Office, it was there on 29 May 2002 an independent department, but this was abolished on 5 May 2006. The Office has not been awarded in all governments, and was therefore vacant partly over several years.
