Dêqên County

The circle Deqin ( Tib: Dechen Dzong; Chinese德钦 县, Pinyin Deqin Xiàn ) is a district in the Autonomous District Dêqên of Tibetans in the Chinese province of Yunnan. It lies on the border with the Tibet Autonomous Region and Sichuan Province. The county has an area of ​​7,596 square kilometers and is one of 62,400 inhabitants ( 2006). Its main town is the large village Shengping升平 镇.

The Catholic church in the village Cizhong ( Cizhong Jiaotang茨 中 教堂) is since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-1054 ).
