The investigator was a German crime series, which was co-produced by ZDF and SF DRS.
General
The series played in Hamburg. The investigative team consisted of Detective Inspector Paul Zorn, his colleague Eva Klaussner and her supervisor, detective Director Henning Peters of Hamburg homicide. The Gerichtsmedizininerin Dr. Nina Jaeger and the chief inspector candidate Tim Rasch belonged since 2004 to the team.
Authors of individual episodes have included Eva and Volker A. Zahn, John Dräxler, Remy Eyssen and Eva and Horst Kummeth. For the individual consequences of different directors were committed.
Produced and broadcast on ZDF were five squadrons, each with six episodes, except for the last season with five episodes.
