The Forellenhof was an eight-part, filmed in black-and- white television series of Südwestfunk of 60 minutes, directed by Wolfgang Schleif of 1965, who played in a country hotel on the edge of the western Black Forest.

Overview

The film was shot in Baden -Baden district Gaisbach both on the premises, as well as in those days there really existing hotel fish culture, which was renamed after the success of the TV series in forest Forellenhof.

The screenplay was written by Heinz Oskar Wuttig, and for the standard of all my animals (1962-1963), somersault (1968) and movies such as The day the rains came (1959 ) or The Thousand Eyes of Dr. Mabuse (1960 ) responsible recorded. The music for the series wrote Rolf- Hans Müller.

The two adult sons Jörg ( Gerhart Lippert ) as a junior chef and Klaus ( Helmut Förnbacher ), still studying in Freiburg, and the youngest Christa ( Helga Anders) who still goes to school, play a role in the family stories of the hotel, as the grandfather Franz Buchner ( Adolf Dell ), the trout farm, the hotel takes its name.

In February 2007, all the series episodes were released on a 3 - DVD box set.
