The Leihopa was a 26teilige television series of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation 1985-1989 Southwest 3 (today SWR ) and from January 1986 was also broadcast by the Bavarian television as a family series by ORF 2.
Content
Waldemar Herzog, 63 years and retired, intends to provide as Leihopa available. Until now, the agency only Leihomas. Nevertheless, he is taken and experienced 26 episodes cheerful, thoughtful, funny and sad stories. He always gives his best wisdom. It fits as a babysitter for children ( from toddlers to 16 -year-olds ), organized a children's party, deals with the political views of a WG apart etc. Eventually, his son comes with the grandchildren from the U.S. and Waldemar learn English because they want to take him. Privately, he seeks again the proximity to a companion. Finally, he founded from episode 18 with friends his own company. Imagine as accompanying service. By disputes caused, he returns to Omaagentur. Silke Schwinger wrote the screenplays for the series, was directed by Otto Anton Eder.
