The last bull is a German television series that airs on Sat.1 since 12 April 2010. The plot of the series takes place in and around Essen.
Action
The Essen- cop Michael " Mick " Brisgau was suffered by a headshot in use in a coma. When he wakes up after 20 years, he has to realize that so much has changed.

DVD Release
Even before the broadcast of the final two episodes Sat.1 published on 23 July 2010 in collaboration with Sony Music and MerchandisingMedia a DVD box set of the first season with all 13 episodes. This box set contains three DVDs with a total running length of approximately 570 minutes.
Since 17 June 2011, the second season with all 13 episodes on DVD is available. Here it will be released before the broadcast of the last episode. The third season was released May 25, 2012 on DVD. The first three seasons are available as box with 9 DVDs since 23 November 2012. The fourth season was released on May 24, 2013 DVD in Germany.
Remakes
The cable network TNT announced in May 2013 a pilot episode for an American remake of the German series in order. The series, which has the working title The Last Cop, shifts the action to Los Angeles and shows the policeman Mick Branigan, who fell in the 1990s into a coma, wakes up after 20 years and then returns to the LAPD. The pilot will be co-produced by Fuse Entertainment and Fox Television Studios for the station TNT.
